Wednesday was a beautiful day for the 8th grade picnic!









The weather wasn't great but that did not slow down our Rocket Runners. 31 laps around the halls of MIS and the practice 5K was complete.
Way to go Rockets!!











Today we celebrated "unBEElievable" mentoring partnerships! Thank you to our mentor teachers who provided guidance and support to our new staff members this school year!



3rd graders visited MIS yesterday to learn all about what to expect next school year! Huge shoutout to the PBIS Ambassadors and Student Council for their help acting as tour guides and for sharing their experiences with the incoming students!










Last Friday Mrs. Arduino's first graders shared their final EL project. The students wrote an adjective that describes birds and facts that support it. Students also made bird savers of a favorite bird. They are meant to be put in a window to save birds from crashing into it!





Thank you to everyone that came out for the One Last Play on the wooden playscape! We had a blast and it was a wonderful way to cap off a wonderful almost three decades with the playground! Thanks for organizing, Mokena PTA!
