Mokena School District 159 supports and encourages the integration of technology into the classroom as it relates to providing a quality, future oriented, learning environment. The district is proud to be a 1:1 district in which all students in kindergarten through eighth grade receive a Chromebook as a classroom tool.
Each Mokena classroom is equipped with a standard set classroom technology tools which includes a Chromebook for each student, a teacher laptop and monitor, document camera, phone, interactive flat panel with a Chromebox, and a wireless access point.

With all of the available technology within the district, student security is of highest priority. This includes monitoring through Gaggle, content filtering through Go Guardian, data security through firewalls, and strict compliance with Illinois' and federal student data privacy acts.
