SAVE THE DATE! 📅
The book fair at MIS is next week: November 11th to November 15th.

Our 6th graders are perspective-shifting wizards! They dove into an excerpt of Walk Two Moons in StudySync and rewrote it through new characters' eyes, nailing tone, relationships, and voice using an EduProtocol. From analyzing texts to creating their own narratives-pure magic!

Friendly reminder: no school tomorrow!

Mr. McAtee joined the 5th grade girls
Volleyball Intramurals for some fun!

4th grade students enjoyed a field trip to Big Run Wolf Ranch to kick-off their upcoming ELA module about animals and their defense mechanisms. Thank you to the Mokena PTA for their support in funding this experience for our students!

Happy Halloween from Mokena 159 teachers and staff!
