Last Friday Mrs. Arduino's first graders shared their final EL project. The students wrote an adjective that describes birds and facts that support it. Students also made bird savers of a favorite bird. They are meant to be put in a window to save birds from crashing into it!

7th grade social studies students had the option to celebrate Earth Day by reusing materials at home to create an object that represents their studies of American History. Congratulations to Emma, Aubrey, and Cooper for their winning designs!
5th graders learned about tornadoes, hail, and thunderstorms today from Mr. Nick from Illinois Storm Chasers and Storm Science. They even experienced a storm cloud in the gym! Thank you to the PTA for sponsoring this event that extended learning from their ELA module about natural disasters!

Launching Imagination was a hit. Thank you to Mrs. Dobbelhoff for organizing this wonderful MIS Art Fair. Every student had work displayed as well as a few hands on activities. Thanks to all of the families that came out to enjoy the magnificent art!
